MIZU'S

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

At Mizu Karate Academy, we believe that the Karate journey is a very personal one whether you are a child or an adult. Learners should receive instruction in an environment that carefully considers ALL of their learning needs. We take into account a learner’s style. Some karatekas are visual, some are kinesthetic others are auditory learners. Our training is delivered in a way which considers these four broad learning styles without compromising on the requirements of drilling the three components of Kihon, Kata and Kumite.

Our classes are designed to incorporate multi sensory exercises; yoga type stretches and Brain Gym techniques to make the student’s journey in Karate a very personal and enjoyable one. Both traditional and nontraditional learners benefit from this teaching style.
